Derek Climpson - Acupuncture & Alexander Technique

Derek Climpson is a British Acupuncture Council registered practitioner. In 1983, he started his career in complementary medicine, graduating in London as a practitioner of the Alexander Technique which is known for its good track record in treating back, neck problems and stress.


In 2006, he began a 4 year course Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (TCM and 5 Elements) at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, graduating In 2010.
Derek has subsequently worked for 18 months at a London hospice where he treats inpatients, outpatients, their families, staff and volunteers.
He also works at a drug and alcohol agency in Essex using acupuncture to treat those with addictions.
